Art as Worship?

I see art as a form of worship. It is a way to create a thing of beauty, in the same way that the Creator made us in His image. I realized this after I read this quote by Charlotte Cushman:
"To me it seems as if when God conceived of the world, that was Poetry; He formed it, that was Sculpture; He colored it and that was Painting; He peopled it with living beings and that was the grand, divine, eternal Drama."
Another thing I realized long ago, is that of all Creation, humans are the only ones touched by God. He spoke the Universe into existence, but He reached down and sculpted humans out of the dirt and breathed Life into them. By painting, we try to replicate the colors He used. By sculpting, we try to mimic His Art. This just goes to show how everything we do is meant to Worship the Divine Artist.
